Indoff is headquartered in St. Louis, Missouri and was founded in 1971.  We have served the needs of both Industry and the Office for 40 years. Today our “divisions” – Material Handling, Commercial Interiors, Business Products, Promotional Products, and Commercial Printing – are capable of fulfilling almost any need a business may have. Our customers are in every industry imaginable – distribution, healthcare, education, legal, engineering, manufacturing, etc.

Our business model is unique. We combine the financial strength of a $100 million plus distributor with the talents, expertise and local service of hundreds of sales professionals, our Sales Partners.  We call them Sales Partners because they are empowered to make local decisions regarding pricing, service levels and product selection – they truly manage their own book of business and customer base.  Our Partners are employees of Indoff, and their experience and talents backed by our administrative and technological expertise drive customer satisfaction.

Indoff does not inventory product, but we maintain relationships with hundreds of manufacturers, wholesalers and service providers in order to offer the right solution to our customers – not the one we happen to represent or inventory.  Our systems allow our Partners to quickly access thousands of years of experience to solve a customer’s problem, and our administrative expertise allows us to efficiently process large volumes of business.

  1. Thanks to the Roundtable session at our NSM on “Elevator speeches” as nervous as I was, I nailed it !

    I just joined a fantastic networking group and I got my opportunity to use it, so instead of the boring ol’ ” I sell office furniture” or “I’m in the office furniture industry”, I said…. ” for almost 30 years I’ve been filling space and making people feel comfy when they’re sitting at their desks all day” Looking at all the curious looks on everyone’s faces was great because I knew they were wondering what the heck I was talking about, Of course I had the opportunity to explain how and what I did to fill space and make them comfy.

    I am doing a business expo tonight at our local Hilton Hotel so I’m sure I will get more practice. Thanks to whoever came up with that “filling space’ idea at the meeting :) – it just what it was supposed to do- have them want to find out more about what I do !!
